Abstract: Professionals attribute many mental health issues to situations like traumatic experiences, one’s childhood, chemical imbalances due to genetics, and more. Rarely do the majority of people look at diet as a factor of mental health, but they should! Diet and mood influence each other in a variety of ways. The present study looked at the effects of diet on psychological well-being. This study found a positive correlation between diet and mood. This means there is a relationship between having a healthy diet and having a good mood. As a healthy diet increases, good mood also increases.
